In 2023, at the request of the foundries and their customers, Sirris will once again organise a foundry technology course. This course offers you practical, in-depth knowledge of all the important technological and production-related aspects of castings. The teachers can draw on years of practical experience and accumulated knowledge, which is also reflected in the substance of the course and the course materials.
Cast products remain an important basis for many finished products. That is why Sirris supports this sector and its customers, even in these difficult times, through a variety of initiatives, including the foundry technology course for the employees and customers of foundries.
In this course, Sirris bundles the expertise and knowledge that our collective centre has built up over decades. The teachers are mainly internal foundry specialists, but several external specialists from the business world also take care of parts of the course.
The course, made up of five modules, is aimed at advanced technicians, novice engineers, foundries, buyers of castings, ... To test the knowledge you gained during the course, you can take an exam free of charge. This is done in consultation with the teachers after each module. You will then receive an exam certificate.
The training starts at the end of January 2023 and runs until October.
