VVGT | study evening on casting defects
During his presentation, Dr. Wolfram Stets will discuss the main defects - and their possible causes - in cast iron castings, namely blowholes, slag defects, inclusions, degeneration of the graphite structure, etc. Dr. Stets can rely on decades of experience at the German Institute for Foundry Technology (IfG) and at Vesuvius (Foseco BV).
Current cases of casting errors can, of course, also be presented and discussed during the evening.
Please note that the working language of this study evening is English.

Registration and participation fee
The participation fee is 25 euros, payable in cash on the evening itself.
Pre-registration is necessary and must be sent by e-mail to kurt.beghyn@sirris.be before 15 November 2023. If you register after this date or participate without registration, participation will be 30 euros. Cancellation is free of charge until Thursday, November 16, 2023, after which a participation fee of 20 euros will be charged. If you are unable to attend, you can be replaced by a colleague.
