Programme

The training takes place every Monday in February from 1 PM to 5 PM
The following topics will be covered:

General Cybersecurity Awareness
  • Increase cybersecurity awareness on the shopfloor using a developed tool (Kamishibai cards): this tool will be used throughout the training.

Industry 4.0 Secure Architecture – Demo: 
  • Differences between secured and unsecured network communications
  • Wireshark (Network Packet Inspector)
  • S7 native Siemens communication (point-to-point)
  • MQTT client and broker communication (and security)

Secure Use of PLCs – Demo: 
  • Updating PLC firmware (key points to consider)
  • Reviewing the security guide of a network switch

How to Manage Devices Securely
Managing Data Securely in IT-OT – Demo: 
  • Nmap scan: discovering devices on the network
  • Searching CVEs for a specific type/firmware of a PLC

Secure Remote Access – Demo: 
  • Remote access via a 4G box

Aligning IT-OT on Cybersecurity 
Access Control and Credentials Management – Demo: 
  • Network segmentation (IT-OT)

Anomaly Detection in OT Environment – Demo: 
  • Syslog server
  • Honeypot (server & tokens)
