Demonstrator presents the potential of Factory 4.0

Sirris is a partner in the Factory 4.0 Interreg project, which pursues a cross-border strategy for introducing companies in the border regions to the Industrie 4.0 technologies that they could benefit from.  

Sirris has built a demonstrator to make the potential of Factory 4.0 more tangible. In this specific demo, an operator is assisted in assembling a smart product.

Multiple technologies are shown that help the operator to perform their tasks and which can be deployed for very different applications across many sectors.

As part of the Interreg project 'Factory 4.0', Sirris has built a demonstrator - a smart assembly cell - to show, amongst other things, the potential benefits of using cobots. In this specific demo, an operator is assisted in assembling a smart product. To see the operator at work, or for further explanation, you can just drop in. The demonstrator is presented on open days organised for the Interreg project, of which this is the first session. There are project demos with three project partners: in addition to Sirris, similar events are taking place at Cétim and CITC in France.
